Fibre optics: fast links between floors, buildings and sites
Fibre optics connects racks, floors and buildings at very high speed, even over long distances and free from electrical interference. We design the route, lay the cables, splice the fibres and measure every link, delivering full documentation.
Based in Quartu Sant'Elena · on-site work in Cagliari, its metropolitan area and all of Sardinia
Fibre optics: installation, splicing and certification: from design to support
Fibre backbones and links between floors, buildings and sites: installation, fusion splicing, patch panels and measurement of every link.
Fibre backbones
Links between racks, floors and plant rooms, in single-mode or multi-mode fibre depending on distance and speed.
Links between buildings
Fibre between blocks, industrial buildings, campuses and outdoor areas, in underground ducts or overhead routes.
Fusion splicing
Professional splicing and termination, with minimal losses and tidy fibre patch panels.
Measurement and certification
OTDR and power meter tests on every fibre, with results delivered in a test report.
Racks and patch panels
Patch panels, patch cords and clear labelling: every fibre can be found in seconds.
Repairs and expansions
Fault finding, repair of damaged fibres and new links on existing installations.
From cable route to certified link
Every fibre we install is measured and documented: whoever works on it later will always know where it runs and how it is built.
- 01

Diagrams, routes, labels and test reports delivered at the end of the job.

Tailored solutions for every environment
Every project starts with a site survey: spaces, users, existing systems and goals. We often work with:
- A clear proposal with materials, timing and costs
- Tidy work and full documentation
- Support with tickets and remote assistance
Fibre optics: installation, splicing and certification in Cagliari and Sardinia
Our office is in Quartu Sant'Elena, right next to Cagliari: we work for companies, public bodies and facilities in Cagliari, across its metropolitan area and throughout Sardinia. Every project starts with an on-site survey; after installation, support continues with tickets, remote assistance and on-site visits.
Fibre optics: installation, splicing and certification: common questions
Do you also handle the internet provider's fibre?
The provider activates the line; we build everything after it: the link from the fibre entry point to the plant rooms and the internal fibre and copper network.
Single-mode or multi-mode fibre?
Single-mode is used for long distances and links between buildings; multi-mode suits short runs inside a building. The choice depends on distances, equipment and expected growth.
What does certifying a fibre link mean?
Measuring with dedicated instruments (OTDR and power meter) the attenuation of every fibre, splice and connector, and comparing it with the expected values. The test report stays with you as a guarantee of the work.
Can you repair a damaged fibre?
Yes: we locate the fault with the OTDR, redo the splice or replace the section and measure the fibre again.
Do you also work outside Cagliari?
Yes. Our office is in Quartu Sant'Elena, right next to Cagliari: we work in Cagliari and its metropolitan area and organise site surveys, installations and support throughout Sardinia, including Sassari, Olbia, Nuoro, Oristano. Support also continues remotely with tickets and remote assistance.
