Access control: every door knows who may enter
Lost keys, doors left open, no history: with an access control system you decide who enters, where and when, revoke a badge in a second and always know what happened. We design it together with the network and the other building systems.
Based in Quartu Sant'Elena · on-site work in Cagliari, its metropolitan area and all of Sardinia
Access control: from design to support
Badges, readers, gates, turnstiles and smartphone access: who enters, where and when, integrated with intrusion, video, fire systems and BMS.
Badges and credentials
Encrypted RFID badges and key fobs, PIN codes and smartphone credentials, combined for the most sensitive rooms.
Doors, gates and turnstiles
Electric locks and strikes, panic bars, turnstiles and car park barriers, with door-open and forced-door sensors.
Profiles and time schedules
Permissions by person, group and department, with time slots, holidays and temporary access for suppliers and visitors.
Central management
One software for all sites: adding or revoking access takes seconds, with the event history always available.
Video and intrusion
Access events are linked to the door camera; the intrusion alarm is armed or disarmed with the badge.
Emergencies and fire
On a fire alarm, doors on escape routes unlock automatically; server and plant rooms stay protected by two-factor access.
From door analysis to everyday management
Good access control is easy for those who may enter and hard for those who may not.
- 01
Door analysis
Entrances, internal doors, plant rooms and car parks: who must pass, when and with what level of security.
- 02
Rules and profiles
User groups, schedules, exceptions and procedures for visitors, suppliers and emergencies.
- 03
Choice of devices
Readers, locks, gates and controllers suited to each door, compatible with escape routes and fire doors.
- 04
Network and power
Controllers on the separate building systems network, with battery backup and offline operation.
- 05
Installation
Readers, locks and cabling installed without disrupting doors and frames, with every door tested.
- 06
Integrations
Intrusion alarms, CCTV, fire detection, time and attendance and BMS, where planned.
- 07
Handover and training
Loading users, training the administrators and documenting doors and permissions.
- 08
Support
Badge management, updates, expansions and quick repairs if a door fails.

Tailored solutions for every environment
Every project starts with a site survey: spaces, users, existing systems and goals. We often work with:
- A clear proposal with materials, timing and costs
- Tidy work and full documentation
- Support with tickets and remote assistance
Access control in Cagliari and Sardinia
Our office is in Quartu Sant'Elena, right next to Cagliari: we work for companies, public bodies and facilities in Cagliari, across its metropolitan area and throughout Sardinia. Every project starts with an on-site survey; after installation, support continues with tickets, remote assistance and on-site visits.
Access control: common questions
Can smartphones be used instead of badges?
Yes: many systems support digital credentials over NFC or Bluetooth, easy to issue and revoke remotely, also alongside traditional badges.
What happens if power or the network fails?
Controllers have backup batteries and keep permissions in memory: doors keep working and events sync when the network returns. Doors on escape routes can always be opened from the inside.
Can we use biometric recognition?
Only where the law allows it: fingerprints and facial recognition are special category data under the GDPR and need a specific assessment. In most cases badges, PINs or smartphones are the right choice.
Does access control respect employee privacy?
Yes, if designed properly: notice to staff, log access limited to those who need it, defined retention periods and compliance with Italian rules on remote monitoring of workers. We set it up with your privacy officer.
Can it work with our existing readers and badges?
Often yes: many platforms read existing badges or connect to readers through standard protocols such as OSDP and Wiegand. The survey shows what can be reused.
Does access control help with NIS2?
Physical protection of the rooms that host systems and data is part of the required security measures: access control with an entry log for server and plant rooms is a practical way to demonstrate it.
Do you also work outside Cagliari?
Yes. Our office is in Quartu Sant'Elena, right next to Cagliari: we work in Cagliari and its metropolitan area and organise site surveys, installations and support throughout Sardinia, including Sassari, Olbia, Nuoro, Oristano. Support also continues remotely with tickets and remote assistance.
